Our M6 Boat air conditioner is available in right, left or top air discharge and is now available as a cool reverse cycle heat unit. We use 4” ducting and recommend a minimum of 2- 4” round supply grills with this installation. This unit will run off the new Honda eu1000i 1,000 watt portable generator, while in cool mode. Another option is to use a Statpower 1,000 Watt Inverter and 450 amp hours of battery power and you can anchor out (on average) for one night. The electric heat option generates 5,640 BTU of heat. Electric heat option is not available in 220 volt. Designed to cool 550 cubic feet. Unit Measures: L-16" W-11.5" H-11.5" (Left and Top Discharge, add 1" in length) Weight 45 lbs.
On average, This unit is designed to cool a cruiser up to 27' and up to 30' sailboats.
Running amperage: Cool = 6.4amps, E/H = 17.5amps, R/C = 7.5amps. Add one amp for the standard seawater pump. Start up amperage is calculated by running amperage multiplied by 1.8.

The thermostat is also accompanied with 20 feet of four-wire thermostat cable and installation instructions.The Programmable features allow for weekday and weekend setting for those boater's who care to use the unit for dehumidification or simply climate control while not on board.
